Election 2012.....random thoughts

I have been wanting to do a post about the election for a while.  One I procrastinate and two well I just have put it off.  But I told myself I would do it right before the election.  So here it goes.  I have recently been reading the book None Dare Call it Conspiracy by Gary Allen.  I learned about it from listening to a talk given by President Ezra Taft Benson.  I use some quotes from this book throughout this.  I reccomend you look into the book, it could give you a good idea where things are headed or where they shouldn't head.

I just want to say I am so grateful to live in a country where I can vote. And where my opinion actually matters.  Ooooh! wait it doesn't, but I sure like to act like my opinion matters.  I am opinionated and I swear everyone that doesn't think like me is well, well that is just so unfortunate.  But all kidding aside, I really am grateful to be an American where I can vote, and enjoy my freedom of speech.

I am excited about this years election, even as nail biting as it has been.  I know some are not excited about either candidate.  I totally understand, I felt this way in 2008, where I felt I was choosing the lesser of two evils, McCain wasn't even close to evil though.  But now Romney is a candidate and I am so excited about it.  My heart sunk in 2008 when he pulled out.  But to be honest it was the best, I think it made him a stronger candidate this time around.  I remember being really confused because when he first ran I had a very strong impression he would be president.  But when I prayed (yes I pray about politics) I did ask that who ever was meant to be elected, would be.  So I believe Obama was suppose to win, even though that makes my skin crawl.  I also ask what is wrong with people to vote him in?  But I accepted it after time and realized the American people weren't ready for Romney and they would have to have Obama to realize what they missed out on.  And when Romney came around again they would embrace him more than they did the first time.  People don't really seem to get him still but they do more now than before.  But I also chalk it up to people just don't know whats good when it is in front of them.

I use to not always be into politics and once I was married I began to slowly pay more attention.  It wasn't until I read a late Prophet's talk that he gave long before I was relevant.  President Ezra Taft Benson was President or Prophet of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1985 until 1994.  Before he was the Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints he served as Secretary of Agriculture in the the cabinet of  U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  If you read any of his talks/speeches they seem to always go back to our moral obligation to do our research about the welfare of our country and the direction it is heading in.  Also he talks a lot about "secret combinations that shall be among [us]." "and what ever nation shall uphold such secret combinations....shall be destroyed"(now he quoted this from the book of mormon, and also Moroni) he uses this a ton as well.  He goes into depth on things, but I won't here.  I just suggest you look into it for yourself.   I get that he gave many of these speeches years ago but I believe that they have even more urgency at this time and date.  I also want to make note that I am not one to use scriptural contexts or respected figures to miss construe my view to some how be the right view.  Simply put it is fact and a whole lot of personal revelation and realization, to the situation this country and the world are headed.  When I first read Ezra Taft Benson's speech Stand Up for Freedom I had an over whelming feeling to get myself more educated especially about the people I am voting into the white house, who hold all the power to my future and my children's future.  I will say I still don't do as much as I should, but I know I do a lot more than most people.  And I will be the first to add that reading through some of the political mumbo jumbo is confusing.  But once you have a feel of what to look for you see it more clearly.  I will also add Glenn Beck is on to something, and although I don't watch him much I occasionally read some of his stuff and watch bits of his show.  But when he was more regularly on Fox News he scared the crap out of me (even though I do like him).  And hearing what he talked about then put some of the things President Ezra Taft Benson talked about into even clearer picture.  Then the above book previously mentioned  talks so much of what Glenn has tried to bring to America's attention.  Really it scares me and I don't like to hear about it but it is there and being ignored by so many Americans.  Hence they voted in our current president, and so many still seem to be fine with him.  It is beyond me, I don't get it.

Now I try not to get caught up in the media crud they are part of the problem and they don't tell the truth no matter if they are CNN, FOX News or MSNBC, and ABC (although I will say CNN and Fox News do a much superior job of telling the truth, not perfect but the best we have).  I have my personal conviction of who to vote for and that is how I am voting and little could deter me.  But I know no matter the source Internet, news paper, TV they are all tied to something bigger, pushing something and that is why my personal conviction of who is right, matters so much.  I can't say it enough do your research! The most important thing I have learned is find out who the candidates associate with or "loosely" associate with and find out what they are actually about.

I will say it here, I hate how the media pushes the whole get out and vote especially targeted at the young college students who don't usually know jack.  I would just rather they not vote.  If you haven't read up on things, you are just another tool in their crafty work belt.  So my message from the last two paragraphs is get informed and vote.  Like NOW!

Ever since the President Benson speech I previously mentioned I have changed how I vote.  I am a decent good person and I have a strong testimony of my faith and beliefs, and I am a moral person.  That is what it always comes back to for me.  I find the candidate that aligns with most of my morals and values and beliefs.  I haven't found one person I am 100% lined up with, but I just try to find the one that is the closest.  I will say right now you are darn right that, the fact Romney is a mormon drew me to him.  Darn skippy!  He does happen to be of the same faith as me and so one could conclude he has the same morals, beliefs as I do.  Now let me mention not all Mormons aka LDS people do align with me.  Like Harry Reid and a few other LDS political figures.  But I will be honest I try to check them all out because they are mormon but I don't vote for them because they are mormon.  I also look at some of the groups that candidates have a round them or seem to come up and support them but say they have nothing to do with the candidate.  They are the ones that the candidate will owe favors to or that they actually have more ties to than they would have us believe.

All I have to say is President Obama's groups or people are not good.  That is what actually scares the crap out of me about him most.  One of the organizations that supports him is the Communist Party USA, ugh is this not a red flag for others?  Also now Obama is getting endorsements from  Chavez, Castro, and Putin.  Ugh, I sure as heck would be embarrassed to get some endorsements from communists, especially if I "wasn't one".  I don't see how this is so lightly glanced over in the public eye.  People should be asking why would these horrible people come support our countries President, especially when Chavez has been so vocal about his American bashing ways.

Let me also add here that the uprisings in the middle east are not spontaneous and un-planned.  FDR once said "In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way." (None Dare call it conspiracy, Gary Allen).  The uprisings are a result of a very large force, that seems to be going under the radar, especially with Obama in office.  Also the Consulate attack in Libya was so freaking planned it wasn't the product of a Youtube video which then created a spontaneous protest at the doors of the U.S. Embassy.  I am proud to be able to say that when I heard that story break, the minute the media said it was due to some stupid youtube video, I knew it was a lie.  Then when they said it was suppose to be a protest that went bad, I called BS who just carries rocket propelled grenades to a protest.  Usually ordinary citizens in Libya don't carry those puppies around with them.  I knew once those things were mentioned that something was trying to be covered up that something wasn't right about the story.  Then weeks later it comes out that Obama and his people knew about this, and everything now pretty much screams it is a cover up.  A cover up of what no one really knows.  But it is something big cause the White House is too quiet over it.  Huge red flag America, Obama is bull crapping us.  Wake the hell up!

Okay now I really want to express why I feel Romney is the best man.  I must also add I have read Romney's book No Apology, I enjoyed it and he goes through all his stuff in depth in his book.  He has a plan and one that makes so much sense.

A big reason I am such a huge Romney supporter.  He believes in free enterprise which can only work under our Constitutional Republic.  He believes that we should all work hard for our earnings and our success.  Unlike his opponent who believes handouts should be given to all.  "Our Founding Fathers had no intention of allowing the government to become an instrument to steal the fruit of one man's labor and give it to another who had not earned it" (Gary Allen, None Dare Call it Conspiracy).  If a man "were really concerned about the poor, rather than using socialism as a means of' achieving personal political power, they would divest themselves of their own fortunes" (Gary Allen).  When people's money is taken from them they tend to give less to the needy or down trodden.  I know I would rather give my money to groups or people that I know would actually use it and not abuse it.  Rather than having a corrupt government tell me they can do a better job with my money.  Yeah go sing that to the birds because I don't believe it.  We have something so special here in The Untied States of America, our Constitution. And when our founding fathers wrote it out although they didn't flat out say it, we were meant to have free enterprise.  It is the only kind that works under our Constitution.  I know that Romney wants the best for this country and he sees that we aren't at our best and that we can be so much more, with limited government.

Pretty much I can ignore the fact he has "flip-flopped" on issues.  It doesn't really bug me.  It bugs me that it is all the media have on the guy and that he is rich.  I know that Romney can help this country and that he has the drive and know how to do so.  He is misunderstood by so many.  I feel this is the situation where people call good evil and evil good.  Try viewing him as just a big goofy awkward dork.  Don't look at him as a rich powerful man who wants to smash people in his fist.  I don't see that in him, although the media and left would love for us to believe that.  He really is just a big dork, that has a ton of smarts and needs something to do with all those smarts i.e. fix our ordeal.  He would stand up for family values, which will continue to be attacked and down trodden, if people continue to ignore the politics that are being played out in our Nations Capital.  All because it makes them uncomfortable or they don't want to offend others or hear all the garbage that is displayed everywhere.  Well it is garbage and it isn't going to clean it's self up, unless people start changing it.  Some man claiming to come into office and promising to give us change isn't going to make it happen.  It starts with each and every American getting informed waking up and taking their vote serious.

I feel like people are asleep and not actually paying attention to this election.  This one is so important, things in the world are going very wrong, and Obama is a facilitator (even if he may be unaware) to them not an inhibitor of them.
