The other night D and I were in bed just watching TV and playing with the ipad and the Laptop. We were looking at some stuff on pinterest.com. I was showing him a picture of something on the website that I liked. Mind you we were on the laptop, and he wanted to see the image bigger so he was going to click on the image. Well instead of using the mouse pad finger pad thing on the laptop, he used his finger and touched the screen to try to click the image. I didn't even notice and I saw that his touch didn't work so what did I do, Yep! I also touched the screen with my finger to try to open it, but not only once but several times and then D said yeah this isn't the ipad. It totally took me a min and I began to laugh at us. What has this technology done to us. We have been spoiled by the fact we have literally had the Internet at the touch of our fingers. I still laugh at us trying to click on the image on the screen of the laptop thinking it would do something. We looked like idiots. But it totally reminded me of this video I had seen a few days earlier. This baby was trying to get the magazine to do what an ipad does.
Can you say technology could possibly make us dumber. What has Steve Jobs done to us. Technology, it is amazing and also freaky. I love the ipad but I think a good book with pages in it does a soul some good. Plus, give some adults (meaning D and Me) an ipad for a few months and look, we got dumber and dependent on things being easier for us. Our brain stopped working, we were like some idiots from the stone age trying to work a laptop. When we still use a regular computer, we weren't exclusively just using the ipad. Maybe this says something for a person who will grow with this new technology. Just sayin'!
So there is my dumb moment for the week.

I about died laughing reading this and had to tell Jason all about. It's funny how fast we get used to new technology, Luke was actually poking my computer screen the other day to try and get it work like his Daddy's Ipad. It was hilarious. Ps I loved the story of Paiglee's soccer game. How cute!
Your so right what has technology done to us :)
