Halloween

Right before school

Well Halloween has come and gone. It came quick, but these last few months have been flying by. Can I have a pause button, for life for a moment? Just let me catch up. I have missed so much blogging of my family, it kind of depresses me. But I am trying.

I was able to get Paiglee to be a witch for Halloween this year, I didn't have to conveince her she wanted to be that. I had a hard time choosing for Emery, but rested on a spider. A fat little spider. The Saturday before Halloween I took the girls to the Library Halloween carnival with a friend. Sunday we carved our pumpkins, and I didn't get any pictures of that. Monday the day of Halloween Paiglee got to wear her costume to school. I was going to meet her at school for her classroom party but Emery was too sick. The week leading up to Halloween Paiglee came down with this horrible cough then Emery was beginning to get it. Monday she was gagging and not doing great. I spent all morning at the doctors office and blowing bank on health care. UGH! But she is doing better and so is Paiglee.

Monday evening we went to the trunk or treat. Then headed to the fire stations where they hand out full size and king size candy bars. Then we headed to Hunter's Ridge for door to door trick or treating. They hand out the best candy. I walked with Paiglee while D stayed in the car and crept the street with us. Emery was sleeping in the car so that worked out great. We walked I think two or three streets then called it good. She had plenty of candy. It was much nicer than last year. Paiglee just kept saying I love Halloween, while running to the houses. She knew a lot of kids that were in her class at school. I didn't know that a good portion lived in that area or I should say the two or three block facinity we hit up for candy.

After trick or treating we came home went through Paiglee's candy and got ready for bed. It was a really long day with a sick baby and all the happenings of the day. It was fun and one of my favorite holidays from my childhood. I love doing it all with my own kiddos now. I always think about my dad taking us out trick-or-treating in the student housing.

I am not a fan of spiders, but I do love that costume on her. Paiglee looks so happy in these pictures! Adorable kids.
