It is only appropriate with the 4th just days away for me to put in my few cents about this amazing day in history. I seriously love this country and all it has to offer. I may strongly disagree with the Man in office but I love the fundamental values that this country was founded under. I am grateful that those men were inspired by God to build this country and write in those sacred papers the things that make this country what it is. I love that what one of our main slogans as a Country is "In God We Trust". And I love that the U.S. Constitution says "We the People". I am a strong believer that the People of this country are those that define it (even if some of those people are ones I disagree with strongly) and not the government. I am very appreciative for the sacrifice that all the servicemen and woman have made to protect and fight for our freedoms present and past. If you really look back in the history of this country you see the Lord’s hand in all the major events and wars we have faced. This is the best country to live in and be a citizen of. I am grateful that I was born here, that I know no difference. I know how great this country is and I don't know how anyone wouldn't be proud to live here. But again I don't understand the haters reasoning either; jealousy is the word that comes to mind. I hate when people fight against our fundamentals i.e. the fact that our country centers on God (or should). I hate people that blatantly disrespect this country and our symbols, especially when you live here. It is one thing to burn our flag or speak ill of us when you don't live here but when your feet are planted on this ground by the grace of God who brought his country to be then like one of my wise girlfriends said "Get the Hell Out" okay she didn't say hell but I will. I will also be more than willing to see you off with a broken plane. HAHAHA!!! Oh I am so evil. LOL! (Okay that was just for fun). But with this said I really love this country and I couldn’t be more proud. USA all the way baby!!
I am sad though because I am spending my 4th of July in Rock Springs we had great plans but they had to be put on hold for Potty Training, blast that crap. So we will be here with very little excitement or fun stuff to do. I keep thinking of all the fun stuff in Laramie and the friends we wanted to spend time with, tear. Who even knows if Rock Springs has a decent fire work show, cross my fingers. So enjoy the 4th and remember this country is the best.
