Summer lovin'

So we have been up to a few things since summer has begun. I have pulled out Paiglee's little swim pool, she loved it and was jumping and trying to float in it. She was pretty comical to watch. My Parents came last weekend during Father's Day and it was a great visit. We ate a lot, maybe too much and just enjoyed the company. My parents brought one of Paiglee's b-day gifts and she loved it, I actually love it too. Paiglee can identify her letters and some sounds but she can't sing the ABC song so this will be great for her. Since having it just for a week she has actually made a lot of progress with it.

I am back on the wagon with potty training and this time I am not giving up, even though I would like to at some points. Daryl mentioned to me that she will be three in about two weeks and she is still pooping in her diaper. So I am giving it all I have to get this job done. I know it is all my fault that she isn't potty trained and to be honest I hate doing it I would rather jump off a bridge than potty train. It sucks!!! But it has to happen we are going to be so busy in July and then before we know it August will be here then we would only have a month to so it before she goes to pre-school. She has to be in panties and peeing and poopin' in the toilet for her to go. So it is a must to get the job done. I really wish I had a mom who would potty train my kid for me like a few of my friends (they have no clue what they have, lucky girls). I am doingit all to get her to sit on the potty and pee I give her chocolate each time she sits on it a sticker for sitting, peeing, pooping and then when she does pee or poop she get a movie a toy. but I have yet to get her to pee on the potty since trying again and she has never pooped on the potty. I have been spending a lot of my time in the bathroom cleaning her up from messing herself. I am really kicking myself in the butt for starting and stopping potty training so many times. A word to the wise once you start just stick with it. I really missed her window of interest and am paying for it dearly. So I think I will be lucky if I can get her to pee or poop by the time we head to Yellowstone. Wish me luck I need a lot of it.

You'll get the potty training thing. Her pool looks like fun. I actually almost called yesterday to see if I can come sit in your back yard with my feet in her pool. I also love her cute little suit.

Em, I hate potty training... when Tim came out I said to myself... one day I'll have to potty train this kid, ugh. But it all ends up ok. She'll get it. She will! Keep up the good work.
