Celebrations

Well like I guessed Rock Springs is a pretty boring town to be in for the 4th of July. We didn't do much all day. We spent our day just waiting for 6pm to roll around so we could head to our friends the Bray's house up the street. We had a BBQ with them and some of our other neighbors that we have never met. It was fun and lots of good food. I enjoyed that Paiglee was able to play with Brycen (sp) and get energy out. Then right before the fireworks started here we headed to a spot where we could see them. We just hung out and watched everyone in the town light off their fireworks while waiting and we did some of our own. Paiglee noticed the fireworks while driving to see them I didn't even have to tell her. She really liked it, and it was fun to see her reaction since previous years she was too young to really get what it was. She loved the sparklers and had a ton of fun with those. It was great once it got to 6pm but it was a boring day and the firework show is not much compared to Laramie's which isn't even as good as big cities. But I am glad we hung out with the Bray's and we enjoyed that a ton.

I couldn't get the slideshow to post with my post so the above pictures are from that night. Brycen the cutie in the pictures was hilarious he wouldn't move his arm and just held it straight out while holding the sparkler. At one point he stuck one in his mouth after it was done and burnt it but it was funny cause he kept telling his mom yuck and spiting. Then Paiglee and him were hugging and all hyper before the fireworks and at one point Paiglee was hugging him so tight they fell and were rolling around. It was a good time. And Paiglee has really begun to ham it up for the camera, she always wants me to take a picture of her and then see it. Oh and Daryl couln't for some reason keep his eyes open for a pic so I posted one anyway.
