I guess..

So I guess I will post something since it has been a while. To be honest I really haven't felt like posting. Plus I have been crazy busy and out of town. We finished our back yard, we still want to do more things to it, but that will have to wait until next spring and we save money. I do plan on still putting in a little flower bed but that has been put on hold. I love having our backyard finished and it looks great. We spend a lot more time in our yard now, and we plan on spending more time as things slow down a bit for me and the weather gets hot enough for water pools. Also I must say thank you to those who helped us lay sod and let use their things for our yard. Thanks to the Gard's and the Hiser's for letting us use your truck when we had to haul compost and mulch and grass. Thanks to the May family and Jason Moss for helping us lay our sod; it was nice that Daryl had help, because I didn't want to do it. And thanks to Gary Gard for helping Daryl spread the compost in our yard and tilling it, and thanks to the Young family for letting us use your tiller. I think that covers it if I forgot someone let me know, I don't want anyone to go forgotten.

I made Paiglee a rag quilt a while ago over likes two months ago and I am just now posting it. I really haven't been in the blogging mood. I really like it, it is very Easterish and she likes it too.

And when I am not super busy I have been painting and a ton more craft stuff with Paiglee. She really likes to paint and so when I am up for it I let her. I taught her to paint on her hand then make a hand print on the paper. Not the smartest idea I have ever had, she now colors her hand with markers and tries to do this. So supervision is a must with these activities now (wasn't the case before).

We had a great Memorial Day weekend, we were going to camp but the weather just wasn't the best and I didn't want Paiglee’s first campout to be in bad weather so we nixed it. But we had a really fun BBQ with some friends and it was lots of fun even if I was cold and cuddled in blankets. The food was good and that is what counts. Oh and I forgot my camera pretty bummed about that one. I love the FAB5. Also thanks Sam for the really cute 4th of July table liner.

Then right after Memorial Day I took off to Laramie for the rest of the week for Doc. apt and my hair apt. I love getting my hair done. It was good to see family this time around since I stayed for so long and I didn't make it a whirl wind trip. I am also so proud cause while I was gone I didn't eat out once, which normally doesn't happen. My sister fed me two nights and the last night my mom made me dinner, and I packed food for lunch and breakfast since my mom doesn't have what we like around. But it was a very nice trip and Paiglee had lots of fun and she even warmed up a ton to my oldest sister which was so nice cause for some reason she was so finicky with her. She loved seeing Grandpa and Grandma. The whole trip there she kept saying "Grandpa?" it got a little annoying since she has no understanding of time. I was able to see more friends this time which is a plus. Paiglee had lots of fun catching up with all her Laramie buddies that we miss so much. It was pretty cute when we left the park one day after playing with her friend Giana they both hugged each other and said good bye. But by Friday I was ready to go home and sleep in my own bed and see my wonderful husband that I was missing. Hopefully next time he will be with me.

And ever since I got back we have done a few more planting in our front yard and I have been busy getting ready for the garage sale me and a few friends are having. I am also trying to get a bunch of sewing done and cleaning. Plus I have been busy running errands which I hate to do when I have other things to do. So that is what we have been up to and more.

Loved your yard. Our kids also thought it was fantastic. Fun with the painting. I'm not brave enough to introduce my children to painting. It sure looks like Paiglee enjoyed it.
