We went to our game night that we were invited to tonight. Daryl and I had a lot of fun. We really enjoyed all the couples there and were glad to get to know some of the ward members better. I was so scared when we moved that it would be difficult to find friends that we enjoyed and that were similar to our amazing friends in Laramie. I am so relieved to have found some, because having a support network is so important especially when you don't know anyone. I hope that tonight is a sign of what is yet to come. I guess I am not so surprised to find great people like the couples we hung out with tonight but I guess that it was so soon into our move that we found them. What a relief!

You don't know me but I read the comment you posted on the blog, A Daily Scoop. I want to thank you for that comment. I too have suffered from depression my entire life and your comment was comforting for me. I was finaly lucky enough to find some medication that has changed my life and helped free me of such a burden. I feel really good now but there are days when I have set backs. Thank you for telling people that it is just a challenge some of us have and we have to work through this problem. I have been able to learn to recognize when I am feeling overcome with depression and I fight it with every tool I have been given. Depression does not equal defeat. We are defintely able to overcome. Thank you again.

Hi!! This is completely random of me, but I'm an avid blog stalker, so I guess not as random for me as it might be for you. Anyway, my name is McKenna. The other night I did a google blog search for Rock Springs and your blog was one that came up. My husband is actually there right now, getting started with a new job (we're from Utah) and I will be moving out there in a couple of months with our two kids. When I saw that you had just moved there as well, and that you are also LDS, I thought maybe you could give me some advice or tips and anything you can think of that might help us with this BIG change!! Anyway, I hope this isn't too weird!!
