We had a great weekend considering I had bronchitis. First I have had this crap since last Monday sometime and have been fighting it without meds. Why you ask on earth would I try and fight bronchitis on my own? Great question! We are in the in between point of getting and quitting one insurance for another. And to be honest I didn't think it was bronchitis until after I couldn't talk. But when I did finally think oh this might be bronchitis it was too late it was Friday night and well the only doctors I know that work on weekends are ER doc's. The ER here is out of the question, bad news is all I hear about it. So Saturday morning Daryl lets me sleep in because I hadn't been sleeping well all week and I just needed it. Daryl got a call from Gary asking to go shoot with him. Of course the great wife that I am said sure go I will make it. I happened to find a DR office open on Saturday YAY! I call thinking maybe they will take my Medicaid (I wasn't even sure if it still worked) I thought what the heck. They said they don't take Medicaid then I ask if I can pay them cash $$$, the Franklin was not on my side. They said it was AGAINST THE LAW! WHAT???? I guess they can't take cash from someone on Medicaid. WHAT? I know I am thinking the same thing. WHAT CRAP! I am not even sure if I am still on it I told them. No such luck. Then I find an Insta-Care place and thought they have to be open on Saturday. I drive there with Paiglee in tote and walk in what I thought was Insta Care. Nope it was the Dr's office I had been calling all morning about insurance and well when I walked in and spoke asking them if I was in the right place they knew it was me because well who else had bronchitis that morning that they talked to. I was very embarrassed, turns out the Intsa Care place was closed so I went home. I tried to get a hold of my Dr. in Laramie hoping they would be so kind to just send a prescription no luck I couldn't get a hold of him. Then I thought why not call that one Dr's office again and ask them nicely to take my money. So I did and the lady seemed very annoyed by the girl with bronchitis who was calling all morning who couldn't seem to get it into her clogged head that they wouldn't take her Benjamin Franklin. So I cried because what else was there to do. I felt horrible and I knew I was only going to get worse because well that is how bronchitis works. Then I finally pull myself together and blow my nose and that unclogged a ton of junk ( I know, just the picture you want to imagine) I felt better but I could feel it building again. Daryl comes home from Shooting and I was ready to have the rest of the day to relax.
Well we get a phone call from Gary the guy Daryl went shooting with asking if we wanted to go to Flaming Gorge and mess around on their boat. Daryl asked and what do you think my response was. OF COURSE! Who wouldn't want to go? So I put my big girl pants on took just about any drug I thought might help and we headed to the Gorge. I didn't feel sick before and during I actually forgot about it except for the occasional blowing of the nose and hoarseness. But I did not want to pass up on this chance to see the Flaming Gorge. Plus I wanted to get to know Beth and Gary better.
We had a ton of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves and to be honest it was totally worth it. Paiglee couldn't wait to get on the boat then couldn't wait to get in the water and ride the tube. We spent the whole afternoon there and just messed around in the water and talked. Paiglee got to drive the boat with Gary and he taught her how to honk the horn she even drove the boat without Gary's help. Gary and Beth pretty much spoiled Paiglee and she soaked it all up. I just can't believe that Paiglee is so brave to be pulled behind the boat. I even took a turn with Beth and luckily I didn’t go in the water unlike Beth. Daryl tried to learn how to water ski and I know he would have been able to except on his fourth attempt he split his finger open a little. The finger that was cutt off. So we called it quits another thing to chalk up what Daryl can't do any longer. His finger is fine though. But we had a blast. Then we came home and ordered pizza for us all and spent the rest of the night playing marbles to marbles. Beth and I totally kicked our hubby’s butts. I think we are 2-0, is that right Daryl?
I did go to church the next day even though I didn't feel great and I was getting worse. Because I figure if I can go to the Gorge I think I can make it to church. I did get to the Dr's today and got antibiotics and they are already helping so much. I did have to pay out of pocket but it wasn't too bad. So in all it was a great weekend even if I had bronchitis.

Wow Em, it sounds like you guys really have an awesome new life over there (I just now caught up with everything). Cool that you guys have made so many new friends already - people there sound really welcoming and friendly. You guys are at such a fun spot! I can't wait to have a toddler that does silly things like bringing her blanket into the bathtub - ha! Cute girl you have.
