I finally did it or had the courage to have someone do it. Last Thursday we cut Paiglee's hair! It was so hard for me to do but every morning Paiglee and I would have these horrible fights about doing her hair and brushing it out. I have been saying for a while that I would chop it off but really I never wanted to because well she is only 2 and has gorgeous hair when she actually has it down, which is very rare. But then the fights we have always put me in a bad mood afterwards and I hated having to go to church after just fighting with Paiglee because I just felt rotten after struggling over hair. But she has so much hair it was never an option to leave it down. Plus I have never seen a two year old with this much hair that kept it looking great. So with all this said I got the guts to have a lady in our ward cut it for five dollars (cheap!).
She came to our home and did it. I knew it was going to be a fight and I warned her that it probably would be. In preparation for the fight I bought two new movies (the wiggles), Mountain Dew (she loves it and she doesn't get much), cheetos, M&M's, and Twix. All of this was for Paiglee in hope that something that she loved would make her sit still and be good while her hair was cut. Marlene showed up with a Popsicle for Paiglee and I put her in the booster chair and when she saw Marlene walk towards her she started crying and screaming and kicking. I tried to give her, her junk I bought but she threw it all. Then I sat right next to her somewhat hugging her and tried to have her focus on the TV she stopped crying and as long as she didn't see Marlene she was great. She was still scared but she did amazing, since I thought I would have to hold her head still while she was screaming. I think she did a great job. I like Paiglee's hair more than I thought I would and I can still do things to it. But the best part is Paiglee can wear it down if she doesn't want her hair down. Brushing out the knots is ten times easier than before. I think I will keep her hair short until she is older and can tell me what she wants and that way life is no longer spent fighting over hair. I also think the haircut makes her look older, not the best thing but it will do.

I would say a good five inches were taken off. Since her hair had curl at the end. There was a ton of hair to clen up.
