Where is Summer?

Have I said that I am tired of the crappy weather here? Today we woke up to almost a foot of snow, heavy slushy snow. It is going to be a huge mess around here when it really starts to melt. I just hope that after tomorrow that it gets nice like the forecast has predicted. I am trying to stay sane, and hold on to hope that summer will come because pretty much winter and spring are one here.

I was looking forward to getting out of the house though today for playgroup, but 30 minutes before I left the phone rings and I am told playgroup is canceled because they don't want people out in this weather. WHAT!? That is the whole purpose of playgroup so that days like this when we are trapped inside we can have some sane moments. Plus we live in Wyoming we should all be use to driving in snow and wet roads. I was needless to say a little irritated about it, all I can say where is the logic in that? But my friend Sarah saved me and we got together for a play date and it was great. I love chatting with that girl. She is one of my dearest friends, plus I just think she is a great mom and the best person to just hang out with.

Other than that nothing real exciting has happened.

I can't believe how much snow you guys got. Times like these I don't miss Laramie. Yeah, I am pretty sure that if my neighbors were watching me yesterday they were getting a good laugh out of seeing me stand outside and beg my daughter to open the door. I felt really stupid. It was funny though. Good times!!!

So, so, sorry. Why don't you get on a plane (for like $150 round trip) and come visit me in our 90 degree weather! :) We would have lots of fun. Think about it... I miss the snow to a point, but I think I'd be very sick of it by now. Hang in there. :)
