Teething is a nightmare

I have the perfect baby, when she isn’t teething. I don’t remember Paiglee being this bad. I mean Paiglee would get diarrhea, diaper rash, a runny nose and a fever. But they would come in, she had a few that would ascend then retreat back up. But Emery has been teething for maybe the last few months on and off then the last few weeks non-stop. And we have nothing to show for it all. Yes, my baby has only two teeth still. To say the least I am frustrated with her teeth. Daryl and I have had some pretty sleepless nights lately, due to all this. I mean she is one sweet baby but when life goes awry she can be the whiniest, neediest , little thing. I have reached my breaking point several times. Where I just don’t care if she is in pain, people have to sleep and that is what I did. I also have to get other things done other than just hold my baby. So that is what I did. And I was perfectly fine with it. I think it has actually made us stronger.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. She has six! Yep SIX little teeth coming in! Poor girl! They are hard and her gums are white where they are coming in and she has the nubs. Some will some in faster, but the others won’t be too far behind. She had the worst diarrhea and a bad diaper rash that lasted more than a few hours. A runny nose that was out of control and she constantly was pulling her hair. That last one has always been a sign for my girls either they have an ear infection or are teething. But slowly she is getting back to normal smiling more, I mean for a days she wasn’t into smiles. Looked grumpy and hated when people tried to make her smile. She was a grump! But she is coming around sleeping better most nights. Eating better, and crying and whining less. I am so thankful, it was rough. Remember SIX stinkin’ teeth!

Oh and I might add they are all on the top yep she will have all her front teeth soon. And look not so much like my baby anymore. Let’s not even talk about that.

She is miserable

She even took a liking to the binkys I had lying around, she would suck and chew on them. Though she didn't suck normal as you can see, that is how she does it. She was a pain but does make us laugh.

Thank goodness she is cute, that was her smile for a while because of her teeth. She made all sorts of faces, which I have tried to catch on camera but haven't.
