Full Fledged Thumb Sucker

After Emery was born I noticed she would search for her hand a lot more so than I remember Paiglee doing and more than just rooting. When we were home she found her thumb and she enjoyed it. She was probably a utero thumb sucker. But she never took the binki's all that great for a while wouldn't really take one except for those soothies. I hated them because they never stay in. Then we lost a few, she always would knock the binki out and suck on her hand. Then it went from fingers to thumb to fingers to thumb (well you get it), with some binki mixed in. I didn't know what she was going to end up with. Until I just pulled the binki and she just went to her thumb and hasn't gone back. At the beginning of her exclusive thumb sucking she had a big sore on her thumb from sucking it. But with some good lotion it is good now, you can tell what thumb she sucks it is a little dry, but not bad. I always wanted a thumb sucker, I think it is cute. Of course you have the downfall of not being able to take it away but then I will never lose it either. She has a favorite blanky and when she is tired I give her that and she plops her thumb in and is freakin' adorable.

Thumb Before that blanket she would stroke her hair, probably cause it is soft, but now the blanket has taken the place of her hair.
