I remembered...

...Fathers Day this year. I have forgotten the last two or three, I can't remember. D said he wasn't going to say anything to remind me. So he was surprised when I was getting things going for Sunday. I had to make D feel special real special so I would be able to make up for at least one of the forgotten Fathers Day.

I wanted to get him a Michigan Wolverine shirt, he said to surprise him, but I liked something else he probably wouldn't have chosen for his first pick. So I had him pick it out, I like the Track jacket, and he liked the bright yellow polo. I am not a fan of the bright yellow he loves it. So he got to pick. But I also surprised him with a new nalgene bottle and I put a magnesium fire starter, a bag of peanut M&M's and twizzler nibs. I have been wanting to get him a fire starter for a while and I told him i am just going to keep getting you camping stuff until you decide to finally pony up and take me. I told him the gift he didn't know about probably wouldn't be that cool. He actually was happy with it, he said he was scared of getting a pancake dispenser. Then I also made him Bobby Flay's Pancakes and put chocolate chips in them. They were super yummy, I can't wait to make them again.

When we laid down for bed, Daryl said I did a good job, I said good enough to erase a forgotten Fathers Day. He replied with maybe.

He is by far the best husband I could have ever asked for. He is my stabilizer and my rock. He brings the best out in me, and is always wanting me to succeed in all I do. He is by far my best friend, and the greatest man I know. He tries so hard to provide a comfortable life for his family and he is an amazing provider for us. He does all it takes to succeed in all his dealings. He is the best Dad to our girls and I can see in his interactions with them, how much he loves them.He is funny even when his humor is less than tasteful, but that is him, he doesn't take himself too serious. He is a Rock Star!!! I a tribute so many of his traits to his amazing parents, that showed him through their example.

I love him!
