Summer projects finished

Okay so the way I am going to do this huge catch up is begin with oldest to newest pictures from my camera. I have stuff from the beginning of June.

So as I have mentioned in one of the previous posts, we had some summer projects around our house. My Dad helped us build a deck, and Daryl put in our sprinkler system. I finally got around to taking a decent picture of the deck before we tore up our yard to do the sprinkler system. So glad I thought to take a picture when I did because our yard is still repairing it's self, and it doesn't look as good. Also my dad had to make another trip out to help me finish up some things, like texture our wall where we had to go in and tie a pipe so it would stop shaking. And mostly he came back to build me a big planter box. I have yet to fill it with good soil and put plants in it, I know summer is almost over, but heck I am only one person.

But when my dad came back he also brought Paiglee's cousins Austin and Calvin. We had just bought Paiglee a bigger pool to play in and the boys and her had fun messing around in it. She had so much fun with them.

Also about the sprinkler system I love having it but so glad it is over, word to the wise put it in before you put your grass in if you have the option. The soil here is pretty much rock and clay so it was hard work for Daryl to trench, and he didn't listen to me and thought he would trench with just a pick and trench shovel. By the end he wished he had rented a trencher. We had so many rocks and a lot mud in our grass after wards, our yard looked horrible, but now a month after it looks better, but not as good as it once did or that I want, yet. D says it could take a good year for it to look like we didn't do anything to it. So glad our summer projects are done, well until we have a garage sale at the end of summer.
