A little catch up

Well we have had a good last few weeks or week which ever. Last Tuesday we went to Laramie, because the man that does my hair had a cancelation and I jumped on it. My original apt wasn't until January 19th and I was in need of a good cut and color, plus my family was really wanting to see us during the break so it worked out great. We weren't able to stay long but we had a fun quick trip. I was able to see everyone I wanted to in the 24 hours we were there. Plus it was nice that my mom and dad didn't have to work so I saw lots of them.

Wednesday we had an early New Years Eve party with some friends. It was a lot of fun and we got a party tray from Los Cabos and it was super yummy. It was a fun night of games and talking. And to top it off our friends the May's were in town visiting parents and were able to make it and party with us. Not saying the others didn't top off the night, the May's just aren’t around as much. Our real New Years Eve was laid back and we just hung out as a family and played at Daryl's work. New Years day was enjoyable we went to check out some sales in town and just soaked up one of our last days of break. I have made a few resolutions for myself this next year but I am not going to share them because I am superstitious that putting it on here will make them harder to accomplish.

I have also been busy making bows again, I taught Fara how to make a new bow and they were so much fun I just can’t seem to stop, plus I have to teach the YW how to make some so I figure I had to pull them out sooner or later.

We are in the 9 am slot for church now and we are loving it and loving church a little more. Also it was Paiglee's first Sunday as a Sunbeam. She was not excited and with me being in the Primary Presidency it made it a little more difficult because I think she felt she could melt down more with me there. At one point I took her to the potty and when we came out she pointed in the direction of the nursery and cried "I want to go to nursery, nursery....nursery" then she would just pout the whole time in her chair, she could care less about what was going on. Then when she went to her class I had to come and sit in for a bit. She finally did better it was most likely due to them coloring and getting bracelets and a sucker ring. She ended up liking it by the end but who knows if I will have to face it next week as well. But it felt so good getting out of church at noon rather than 4pm.

Today is back to the grind stone and getting things back to the usual routine. I miss having Daryl home every day, we get so much done around the house together. But I think he was ready to get back to work, he is a person that likes to do things and not lie around. I am looking forward to warm weather or Spring for that matter, I believe Christmas is over and so should Winter.

Looking forward to warmer days!

so I've not been on your blog for awhile & there was lots to see. I'm glad you had a fun Christmas. We enjoyed hanging out with you guys this Christmas break. We miss not having family close so it's been fun to share the holidays with friends. I also can't wait to make more of those bows. I told Lily they were her princess bows so she loved them.

I totally understand the sunbeam thing. I am in the Primary presidency also and we only have Nursery for the first hour in the branch so the last hour of church has mostly been a nightmare (mostly because Bryant is way too young to hold still that long). But, Landon has caught on and Paigelee is old enough she probably will be loving it soon. Good Luck!
