Five Years

Today is our 5th anniversary, hard to imagine. I almost forgot it was our anniversary until my friend Fara called to see if she could drop something off. As I wait I think hmmm... what could she be bringing me ? When I saw her phenomenal crazy cake in hand I then asked if it was the 6th and then realized I had gone the whole day without realizing it was our anniversary. Funny thing is I thought about it yesterday the day before yesterday and the day before that. But I seem to forget on the day of our anniversary. But really no worries because I didn't really forget I just didn't realize it was the 6th today, that counts right. We didn't do anything special today for it, but I will be planning a getaway over night for the two of us hopefully soon. My friend Fara's anniversary is just a few days before ours so I told her we could swap kiddos while the other does something special for their anniversary. I am hoping to put something together soon for Daryl and I to do. I am excited to do something just the two of us since we never do, I just have to figure out what.

But we have made it five years for some that is a milestone these days; for me it doesn't seem very long, until I look back on our time together. We have great memories together, some I wish I could remember better. We have been through a lot we have had many good times. Sometimes I wish I could go back and re-live some of our time together, because it was that good. But I love where we are at in life, I think this is the time we will look back on the most, and want to re-live at one point.

I am super grateful for Daryl, for the person he is. I love him to pieces!
