Potty Psych

So Paiglee is pretty much pee trained she still has a few accidents every now and then but most days she stays dry and won't pee. The poop is a whole other situation; she will not poop on the potty. So I just try to catch her when I think she is trying to hide to poop. And sometimes I just keep her in her pull up in the morning until she poops. But this morning she tried to pull a quick one on me. She calls down “poop, poop” and I tell her “okay bring the wipes and pad and come down” well she kept yelling something so I go up and look and she doesn't have her pull-up on. I said “oh no”, then she runs into the TV room and points to her potty and says "poop, yay, high five" very excited and also says, "computer, computer" (cause we told her when she poops on the potty for the first time she gets this toy lap top thing that sits on the fridge, and she is dying to have it) and I say “you pooped” and then I look around for her pull-up and well she pooped in her pull-up and then transferred the poop into the potty and she must have peed to make it look official. I said “no Paiglee you pooped in your diaper then put it in the potty”, all the excitement went away. I said No computer until you poop in the potty on your own. I just think it is so sneaky of her to figure that out.

But Later when I was getting ready for a walk with a friend she was hiding in the corner and I looked to see if she already pooped and she hadn't so I sat her on the potty and she comes into my room “poop look”. Sure enough there was poop a small one. I was so happy but then I began to think wait she had a small streak in her undies what if it was just in her bum cheeks and fell out when she sat. I don't know if that is what happened for sure but I have a huge feeling it was so I didn't give her the computer I said next time when you poop a lot you get it. But she did get some FLARP ( putty that makes noises) and I did say good job and make it exciting she pooped but when she poops more it will be a huge party for her.

But really I just wanted to write about the sneaky behavior of a 3 year old girl, who desperately wants the toy on the fridge.

She has also filled many potty charts and has gotten many dollar tree toys and many big toys for peeing so well. She usually has accidents if she gets too busy playing with friends and I don't remind her or make her sit on the potty. Life is cheaper now and I am grateful for that.
She got this for peeing like 7 times in a row, she was super excited, and she began all this on her own really, I am really just thrilled, I use to want to punch moms that said oh I don't know my kid just started doing it one day, but now I understand cause really she just started doing it one day with out peeing on my carpet.

She has filled many charts and also peed in Bear Lake without her chart and prizes so I know she can do it without, and she also tells us when she needs to pee.

Bubba is potty training too and here is his sneakiness - he will go like 5 drops, get a treat, go 5 more drops, get a treat, etc. He did it 7 times yesterday in a row! Sneaky little kids! :-)

lol..what a girl...that's pretty good. just the beginning of more sneakiness to come. I love that she got flarp. maybe she can play with it while she's trying to poop to get her in the mood :)

I'm glad you've caught her sneakiness. She cracks me up. Wouldn't it be easier to just poop in the potty? She would rather transfer and that makes me laugh.
