The past year

We have officially lived in Rock Springs for a year. We moved here on my birthday last year and it was the best birthday present ever. This past year has been a great one, we bought our first home we moved into a great ward have made some really great friends and Daryl loves his job and I really haven't been happier. I may not love the town but I love the people here. I have felt so blessed this past year and am so grateful for all the blessings in my life. I look back and I can't believe we are where we are. It was a busy year with many new things, and it has all been really good. I just really looked forward to this next year in Rock Springs and the surprises it may hold. The Lord has really blessed us and I have for sure felt his hand in our life guiding us a long the way.

Yesterday I had my 25th birthday as I was told by a friend I am half a century away or half way to 50. Not exactly something I want to think about but time does not stop. I spent Wednesday night with a few of my girl friends and they treated me to dessert. Before that Daryl took Paiglee and I to Santa Fe for dinner for my birthday. It was so yummy I ate a little too much. I also got a few gift from the girls and I loved them all thanks a bunch you guys. On my actual birthday I got to sleep in and Daryl had cleaned to house and that was really all good enough for me. But when I got back from seeing Maggie I had flowers and cheesecake waiting for me. They were so gorgeous unfortunately Paiglee got hold of them this morning and I only have five left that are full stem and have all their petals. And I got phone calls and texts from all my favorite people, so really it was laid back and i couldn't ask for much more. Now if only I could stop the time so I can not age any more. That would make my birthday the best.

So to another year I hope and know it will be just as great as this first one here.
