4 Years ago Today.....

Daryl and I were married in the Denver Temple, for time and all eternity. I still remember that day pretty well for how crazy it was. I remember standing in the room with my sister and my mom getting ready. I remember nothing that the sealer said; seriously it is kind of sad! I do however remember just staring at Daryl with probably the cheesiest grin on my face. We both looked so good that day. Sometimes I wish I could go back to that time with what I know now and maybe our first year of marriage would have been a little easier. But then I probably wouldn't love where we are right now so much. Sometimes I feel like we have been married much longer than 4 years and then I think about it and four years is so short but so much has happened in our lives to get us to where we are now. I love my life with Daryl, we are not that financially stable and don't have a ton of nice things, we have added some things to our life a child, nick knack stuff that we probably don't need, and some extra weight in our midsections, but all this is worth what we have, I wouldn't give any of it up, well I would give the weight up in a heartbeat. But I am learning slowly that the hard times make for some really great times. I have learned a ton about myself since being married to Daryl, he has helped carve me into the person I am today and let me tell you there are a lot of shavings at me feet, cause there was a lot of crap. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I love what we are I love him and most of all I love our life together, because we are the ones making it work. We are what we are. We are both imperfect and we tend to compliment the other, where one may lack the other picks up. Where we both lack well that is a whole different story, but in the end our love is what holds us together and our love is what makes our life perfect. I love that man to pieces. Here is to 4 years thus far…
