My Weekend

Well I feel like so much has happened this weekend nothing has really happened I have just been busy. I really enjoyed this weekend and thought I would give an overview for my own memory. Well Friday I was suppose to go to the Personal Progress party the Young women were having but I got caught up with my previous arrangements that by the time I went home dropped off Daryl and then drove there I would need to leave to get Beth and head to Fara's. Remember the Boo letters I did well Fara saw them and wanted to do them so I thought I would set up a time to show her and Beth also wanted to do some so I made a little letter gathering to do so. We went to Fara's house since her hubby was out of town and so her kids would sleep while we had fun. I didn't think it would take long because when I did my own it only took a few hours at most. Well turns out when you get gabby girls together you should tack on about three more hours. We got to Fara's at a little past eight and we didn't leave her house until a little before 2am, I know we are crazy people. But the end product for us all were very cute letters and a lot of laughter, I say it was well worth it. But I don't know if I will be staying up that late again to finish letters. By the time we left we were all delirious with blood shot eyes and ready for bed.

Saturday I had plans to clean my entire house since my mom, dad, and grandma were coming to visit us for the weekend. They weren't supposed to get here until 9pm so I had plenty of time to clean. Daryl was so nice to let me sleep in until 10am so I had at least eight hours of sleep. I literally woke up and began to clean and didn't stop until like 6pm that evening. But I felt great my house looked wonderful and Daryl and I got a ton of organizing done. Then Daryl couldn't resist getting dessert and thought we would take some over to the Gard's to help us eat it. I then came home made my guest beds and finally sat down to relax and unwind. My family arrived close to 10pm and I showed my grandma our home and then we visited for the rest of the evening. Sunday was Stake Conference and it was a broadcast. I woke up early to let Daryl sleep in and I was making my pot roast and I was washing my potatoes when I felt water on my foot I look down and for some reason water was literally spilling out of the dish washer. I started to freak and my dad was close by to try and help her turned off the water and I ran to get towels and wake Daryl to help. Well I got the towels and Daryl was no where he decided to shower. I told him what was going on and he rushed down. But we got the water cleaned up and found out what was wrong (I can't remember what caused it). This made me late to finish making my roast and to begin getting ready so my parents and grandma went to save seats and we showed up about 40 minutes late. The rest of our Sunday was relaxed and uneventful.

I loved the weekend between crafting, getting a ton done around the house and family coming it was really good, I couldn't ask for a better time. I didn't take any pictures of the weekend cause I forgot but here are the letters I made.

The Pictures aren't the greatest but you get the idea, I think they look better in person

The letters are very cute. I can't believe you all stayed up that late. When I attempt to stay up too late I get super crabby. I'm glad the dishwasher problem wasn't major, aren't you glad you were home when that happened.
