Busy, Busy Bees

I can't even tell everyone how bad I can't wait until I have an actual routine and normalcy in my life again. This probably won't happen until after we move but none the less I can't wait for that time. Life has been busy to say the least. I can't believe that June is half over. You would think that being so busy and on the go almost at all times I would have lots to talk about but really it is nothing most would find exciting to read about. I will give a rundown of what has been going on in our life since I last posted. We have finished up some paper work for the house and are waiting to hear back from the lender and our realtor tomorrow to find out some important times for us to hopefully finalize all this stuff and to hopefully be able to move in our new appliances we are going to buy. We have signed so much paper work and have read so much I can't even imagine how much we will sign when it comes to closing because I have been told what we have already signed is nothing compared to closing day.

Tuesday Daryl and I went to Fort Collins to look at appliances and other things for our house but the main focus of our trip was to buy a new bed. We have planned to buy this bed for some time now. It is a gift to ourselves for being done with school and getting a job. Plus it is very much needed. Every time I lay on our current bed my lower back and sometimes hips begin to ache. Plus Daryl and I are tired of sleeping so close to each other, we need our space. We just don't fit in a Queen; we constantly fight for more room on the bed. This will soon end because when we move we will have our new bed. We got it at Denver mattress because they were having a good deal on beds. Daryl was a little upset because when I walked in the door the first place I went was to the Simmons Beauty Rests and I was sold the minute I found the right firmness and softness. But we didn't buy until the following day when we went to Cheyenne and tried more beds at their DM (Denver mattress) Daryl did a test on me the minute I walked in the door he covered my eyes and lead me to the bed he liked that was much cheaper and the one I liked from the previous day. He thought I wouldn't be able to tell, silly boy. I totally could tell! Then I couldn't make up my mind because I didn't want to spend so much on a bed so the store guy showed me a bed that is made by Simmons and just like the one I liked but that was 500$ less which is great cause I didn't want to really spend what they were asking for the Beauty Rest it is a Richmond. So then it took me forever to decide which I liked better the Beauty Rest or the Richmond. One was a little softer and one was a little firmer, but if you laid on each one long enough it pretty much felt like the other. I still haven't made up my mind fully to this day which one I liked better. But we got the Richmond which is the cheaper one and we got the bed kit to go with it. It comes with bed cleaner and pillows and the sheet that protects the bed. So now we have a KING bed that is very comfortable and I can't even wait to move just so we can sleep on it. I have also been looking at bed sets and sheets on Overstock.com and I think I have Daryl talked into Egyptian Cotton sheets thanks to John who also helped with the convincing that you can tell a huge difference in the quality of your sheets. So I think I see a set or two of Egyptian cotton 600-800 TC (thread count) sheets coming my way. YAY!!!!

Thursday Daryl's brother John stayed with us for a night because their Grandma Rhoda is not doing so well and was moved to a nursing home, and they went to visit her; so John stayed with us and they drove over together to pay a visit to her. It was good to see him and talk.

Saturday we went to the Rec Center to swim and play with our friends the Bades. Then we went to their house to get our game on with a little marbles to marbles. For those who have no idea marbles to marbles is the greatest game ever and much too hard to explain right now, some other time.

So as you can see nothing really exciting has happened with us. But I can't even tell you how bad I want to leave Laramie. With Daryl not working we are just hanging out getting a lot done but really we have nothing in Laramie. We are just waiting for time to pass. Daryl has another month of Physical Therapy for his finger; yes you read right two months of PT for a finger. We can't wait until that is done with. His finger looks so much better but he has so much more to do for it to be completely better. I will post a picture soon of it.
Sorry I have no pictures but hopefully next time I will. Oh and before I forget Happy Father's Day.

Daryl is upset I forgot Father's Day, any ideas on how to redeem myself would be very welcomed.

Okay, the finger pix almost made me puke, I think there was definitely some dry heaving going on! Congrats on the job and the house! We are hoping to find one in Denver, but definitly not looking forward to the paperwork! As for forgetting Father's Day, sex, a lot of sex.

It's so exciting how everything has worked out for you with the house and everything. Fun stuff. We won't move until next May, but it's kindof nice to know where we're going this far in advance.

It does look a lot like yours. I think we look more alike now. Justin likes it, but he told me he would like it even more if it was more of an A-line, so we might try that next time.
