Happy Birthday Daryl!!

As many know today is Daryl's birthday, he is now 29 and as he likes to say he is on his way to living his 30th year of life. Crazy...Weird...hard to believe...(it feels surreal to type 29 for his age). We woke up this morning and went to Perkins for breakfast that is what Daryl wanted for his Birthday. And Daryl didn't have to work on his Birthday which was nice. Perkins was good and it was my first time ever going there since Laramie just got one thanks to Holiday Inn. Oh I must add that it snowed today and has even started up a little again. I think so far we have gotten 3-4 inches. I am happy about it, but I am sure the ones traveling are not so happy.

After Perkins we went to rent a movie the Bourne Ultimatum we have seen this one in theatre but Daryl wanted to watch it for his B-day. We also bought The Nativity Story movie for only 2.99$ which was a pleasant surprise since it was labeled as 9.99$, either way it was a good deal. Plus I have been meaning to buy it from Deseret Books. But now I won't since I got it for 2.99$. Then we came home and he opened his gift I got him. I bought him the book Freakonomics, I can't wait until he is done so I can read it. Then I baked him his B-day cake chocolate cake with coconut and pecan frosting with Heath bar sprinkled on top, he requested it, he got it. Then we just hung out while miss Paiglee took her nap then we cleaned house a little.

When Paiglee was up we went outside and pulled her on the sled and it was shortly lived since it was cold and once Daryl accidentally made her do a face plant in the snow she was done. But she enjoyed it for a short while and when her face wasn't in the snow. We will have to do it another day when it's not so cold outside (1 degree) and the wind isn't blowing. I thought I would add some pictures of Daryl's cake and some of Paiglee stuffing her mouth full of cake. It turned out better than I thought it would, I was sceptical about how it would taste. We are now just going to have a relaxed evening and watch our movie and Daryl and I will have our cake and ice-cream. Happy 29th Birthday babe, I love ya.
