Our Weekend

Well we had a pretty relaxed weekend for the most part. On Friday I went to my friend Maggie's Fabulous Friday for her ward where we just do a bunch of crafts and stuff. Her and I usually take each other to our wards craft day. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed myself. I got a lot of new ideas for holiday traditions and ways to incorporate Christ into our Christmas which I thought were great ideas.

Saturday Daryl's brother Curtis came over for the Michigan vs. Ohio game and just hung out. I was so tired form the previous night I slept. We cleaned house Saturday evening so that when we come back from Illinois our house will be clean and ready to DECORATE!!! I am too excited for it. I kept asking Daryl all weekend can I do it now. But he insists we wait.

Sunday started out good but then, we were a little late to church and we didn't get a bench. We like the bench only because we can block Paiglee in and keep her contained and she is usually better when we have a bench. Well she was fine but then I tried to get her to sleep in the mothers lounge and she cried and cried and screamed and kicked. It was not fun. Well she was so persistent that I had finally had it and by the time I gave up I was so upset I just found Daryl and told him we are leaving. We came home and of course Paiglee is good. I think she was hungry and tired and that is why she was so cranky. After she slept we were all better and my parents and my grandma came over to see Paiglee, that was enjoyable. Then we just hung out and enjoyed our quite evening to ourselves.

On Sunday evening while we were just getting some things organized I was at the computer and Daryl was off doing something, and Paiglee was climbing on her boxes. I turned around to check on her and I found her at the front door on one of her boxes trying to open the door. Good thing we keep the door locked at all times, not only because I am scared someone might just walk in but because Paiglee is now at the height where she can open the door if she worked hard enough. Then she was goofing off at the door and she fell off and landed in between the door and the box, she wasn't happy. It was funny, but she makes me realize how careful I need to be, because she is becoming more attentive.

Today is just full of doing laundry and making packing lists and packing our bags. We are leaving earlier than we planned because Daryl's supervisor said he didn't really need to come tomorrow so we plan to leave around 10:00 am Tuesday. We will still stay in Lincoln Nebraska for the night because our reservation is nonrefundable. That sucks! We were hoping it was refundable. So now I have to finish packing to leave and keep Paiglee entertained, good luck. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I will be posting a lot when we get back I am sure there will be lots to talk about and pictures to show.
The pictures are of Paiglee after she was trying to escape and she was being silly cause she knew she was caught.
