picture not so perfect

So this summer I have tried to make sure I get lots of picture of the girls together since usually during the school year I get a lot of them separate since Emery is with me at home. Well it has not been the easiest of tasks. And the number one problem is Emery. She either wants to be in the picture a lone, or she can't sit still or won't be lovey with Paiglee. Case in point these pictures are a perfect example of what Paiglee and I have been dealing with.

I was taking a picture of just how pretty I thought Paiglee was.....

.....and look who comes and needs one taken of her, very typical when the camera is out Emery runs to be the center of the Camera's attention.

Then I think why not get them together since Emery wants to take pictures. As you can see she isn't having it, she acts like Paiglee is ruining it.  Paiglee often gets pushed hit and whatever else Emery does to her. Poor Paiglee just filling her big sister role.

Then I try again and the stinker moves, cause I told Paiglee to not touch her thinking that would help, look at Emery's face, stinker.  And Paiglee was all smiles for me.

Then I try to have Emery sit next to her... not having that either, she won't even let Paiglee get close

 Still not having Emery thinks it is funny and Paiglee is getting frustrated

 Flat out just not having it now and Paiglee is over it, but still trying to be a good sport

 Oh the joys of trying to have a nice picture with a 1 and half year old
