Paiglee couldn't wait to sleep in the new bed. We didn't finish the ladder that night because for some reason we didn't have enough wood pegs. So we went to Home depot to get some the next day. So She wasn't able to sleep in the top bunk that first night plus we only have one twin mattress. She was so excited to say the least.
We went shopping for two twin mattresses the next day as well. We didn't think we would find any for a decent price in the Rock bottom, but surprise surprise we did. Then when we were visiting my parents over our spring break my mom gave me these Polk a dot bed sets. I decided to take them because although I have plans for either making cute matching sets or buying them. I have to save the money for either of those so, I thought these would make do for now.
And as you can see there is a trundle bed as well. That is why we had to buy two twin mattresses. We got this bed for a great price at the Bunk Bed Kings. I love it, so far. It is solid wood, and well really well made and since it is solid wood it is sturdy. We were so shocked to find out that it was solid wood, cause to buy anything solid wood now a days you have to pay and arm and a leg for. So if you are in the market for one, go to this company first compare them to others. You can't beat them on the price, for what you get a trundle and solid wood. We love it, and more importantly Emery and Paiglee love it.
D was surprised that Paiglee wanted to sleep on the top bunk. I wasn't I knew that is where she would want to sleep. And when Emery is about two we will move her to the trundle or the bottom bunk. We have strict rule though with it, we don't want it to get ruined with Paiglee's horse play and messing around with friends. We all love the girl's room now, and once the crib is out there will be room to make a corner into a reading corner.
