Some things I have been up to

I have been sewing a little bit here and there.  I have had mending to catch up on.  Has anyone else ever noticed how bad Old navy's jeans suck.  We bought all of Paiglee's school pants from Old navy and not even 6 months into school she began to get holes in the knees.  We won't be buying anymore of them until, a) Paiglee stops being so rough on her jeans, or b) they make the jeans to last longer.  So I have been mending pants like a mad woman.  And thanks to my amazing Grandma Nickelson (the most amazing seamstress I know) who helped me figure out the best way to mend them, they don't look bad for school.

I have made some pretty cute things as well, here is a little apron I made for a birthday gift for someone.  Then Paiglee loved it so much I later made one for her.  It was pretty easy and I enjoy making them.  I can crank them out fairly quickly too.  It fits Paiglee perfectly!

I was needing some bibs that covered Emery better.  I looked up bibs and got bapron and found a cute pattern (here) and used left over material from the apron.  I want to use the material that has like a plastic cover on it to make it easy to wipe clean, whenever I make some more.

Check out my cute model

It was fun to make I think I can make it larger as well.  So I will have some as she grows.
