Productive Weekend

Our weekend was pretty productive, we got caught up on some things and did things we have wanted to do. Friday Daryl and I went on a date, but before we went to Winger's as a family for dinner. I really haven't wanted to go because eating out around here is hit and miss and more misses than hits. But it was a much nicer Winger's than Laramie's and the food was great maybe it was because we have had such bad luck lately but I am sure it was good just because it was good. Daryl and I were going to a movie and we left for that. I wanted to see Lovely Bones because I just got done listening to the audio book. We looked online and it said it was playing but when we got there it wasn't and we had no desire to see any of the others so we were bummed cause there isn't much to do in Rock Springs. Seriously it sucks! But I thought let’s see what the Hiser's are doing and see if maybe they want to go bowling with us and drop their kids off at our place with the sitter. So that is what we ended up doing, it was fun, is bowling my thing no of course not, but it was fun. We started playing individually but then Will became very competitive and by the end it was a couple thing. Daryl and I lost the first game but we came back the second game and won over all, so we did some cleaning up I guess you could say. Then to top it off we went to get some ice cream. So although mine and Daryl's date were ruined the Hiser's came to the rescue and saved the night.

Saturday we caught up on some of our deep cleaning and some stuff around the house that needed to be done. It was suppose to be 50+ degrees it didn't get that high but it was fairly warm. Daryl took down our Christmas lights on the roof finally, since the wind wasn't blowing uncontrollably, and there wasn’t snow on the roof. It is nice to have that down, Daryl says it is the last time it will go up. Looks like next Christmas I will be climbing my happy butt up to the roof if I want lights on the house, heights are not Daryl’s thing.

This weekend was the first time this year I ran 2+ miles for start of the nice weather. It was hard I am so out of shape, it really is pathetic. I am usually pushing Daryl to go faster but I was asking him to slow down. I tried running our usual route earlier in the week with Daryl but we got to about 3/4 of the first mile and I just couldn't do it I had the worst side crap that I couldn't breathe through. I felt like my feet were in cement blocks. Then after that I was so sore, so sore. After running less than a mile my leg muscle gave out on me and I almost fell just because it was so sore and when I put my foot down and my muscle contracted it wimped on me, really how pathetic. So it was a wake up call to run more, and that is what I am doing, I think I will build up to just once a day and by the time it gets really nice I should be able to do a run in the morning and then in the afternoon. But the first run of the running season is always the roughest so to get that out of the way is big.
Paiglee before Church I crimped her hair it made her hair look even thicker and like doubled in volume
She loves the camera and isn't she quit the poser, no help from me to do that

The time change this weekend has been rough for us, more Daryl and I than Paiglee. It has never really been a big factor in our life before but for some reason this time is rough. We just can’t seem to adjust, and it has been throwing us off. But it does make it feel like spring is right around the corner. My sister is coming this weekend and I am just trying to get ready for that. I have no clue what I will do with them cause really once you see one small town haven’t you seen them all. Maybe I can take them Bowling?!? Who knows, but we are excited for them to come and Paiglee keeps asking when Allison will be here, I really need to stop telling her things so far ahead of time cause it gets annoying after the billionth time, “Allison is coming, when she coming” followed by me pulling out my hair.
I have been making some more bows lately, these are a few I made for a friend
She picked out the ribbon and I made them

I am also getting my etsy shop set up and how I want it and when that is done I will be making a link for it on my blog.

I have made a ton of bows that I have not taken pictures of, I got a new tool that makes it really easy for me to get them perfect first try.
