Rag Curls

So I saw someone do this and thought it was so interesting, and I wanted to try to do it on Paiglee. I looked up on Google how to do Rag curls or rag curlers, it has many different names. Some people do it with toilet paper, old cloth, or tights. On all the research I did I found that the tights gave the best results and were easier to work with. Plus I just so happened to have some tights laying around that Paiglee doesn't wear. I cut off the legs and then cut the tights into about 1" strips ( so they were little rings after cutting) but I should have done them maybe 2" but it worked fine. I have always wanted to put her hair in curlers but they are uncomfortable to sleep on. This idea is easy and squishy and comfortable. I just rolled the hair like a curler and left it over night, the hair was damp not soaking wet, and you tie the end of the tights up to make a knot just one it hold well with the tights. I saw many varieties while looking online, you can do loose curls or tight I like both it depends on what you are going for I guess. Paiglee liked it and almost wouldn't let me take the curlers out. I actually like the result of these than sponge curlers. Here is the result.

Oh did I mention it is cheap!

My mom did this to us for church all the time when we were little. :) I found the hair flowers you asked about on etsy.com at first but now I just make my own.

I love rag curls - the daughter doesn't. She prefers hot rollers, but man - rag curls are SO cute!
