Well, as you can see from the title we know where we are going. We will be moving to Rock Springs, Wyoming. We both couldn't be more excited and just happy to know. This morning when Daryl was driving to Rock Springs he got the call from Laramie saying he didn't get the job but we had a feeling that it would be that way. Daryl and I both had a feeling today that we were going to get Rock Springs, we just didn't say anything to each other until after the fact. He was offered the job right on the spot. Daryl said that after the interview they asked him to leave for a while to make sure they didn't have any more questions for him. When he came back in the Principal said well we have one last question do you want the job. Daryl said yes because we had talked before that we wanted to go there and we felt it was where we were supposed to be. Daryl said that the Principal is in her mid thirties so pretty young for a Principal and she is very nice and they just made him really feel like a part of the school already. Before they began the interview they read his resume and said well instead of giving you the interview we give to people with little experience we decided we are going to give you the interview we give more experienced people after reading his resume. I thought finally someone sees what I and so many others see in him. I guess the school is getting a new building built for them as I speak and so not this next school year but the following he will be in a new school and Daryl said that the principal got out the blueprints or something and was showing him all about it. They told him where his office would be and I guess the kindergarten classes are going to have heated floors. Daryl said it was going to be really nice. Also after he came back in and they offered him the job they said they would get him set up with his mentor and that they already had someone they thought would work great with him. (For those who may not know, counselors work under a mentor for 3,000 hours before they get there actual license) so even though he has graduated he doesn't get it until 3,000 hours with a mentor. The mentor is just kind of there to say I agree with his work and trust him that kind of deal. So they really seem willing to help him out and make him feel welcome. They said that they have realtors that work with the school district to help faculty find a place and they said they would keep an eye open for a home in our price range. So pretty much I could go on and on about all the great things Daryl told me but I am sure no one really cares but me. But even though we had a good feeling before, we really have a god feeling now. We are so excited and in disbelief that we will be leaving this town and at least for me I just feel so many emotions that it is just kind of a high right now. I did cry after Daryl told me that he got it because, I just knew that it was right and finally I didn't have to stress anymore and we can enjoy our weekend with family. Daryl and I are so excited to now begin another stressful part of our life, looking for a home to buy. I guess it really hasn’t hit either that we will be moving it is almost not real. But at the same time I am just so happy to finally feel like we have some kind of security.
Here are some pictures of us when we went hiking the other day. Paiglee is a really good climber as you can see in the pictures.
